Christians: If you could act like a sinner and not face the consequences, would you sin?
Nope. I believe in forgiveness and redemption so I could care less about fearing reprisals. I quit drinking because alcohol is nothing but empty calories and I don't plan on blowing up to 250 pounds again. I wouldn't have sex with every girl I met or dated because, one I believe in self control and our rationale minds which set us apart from the animals (in my opinion some people on this planet have been surpassed by animals. My cat is higher on the food chain than some people I know) and two, even after losing weight I still don't have much confidence in myself as I probably should so I think the woman that I marry deserves something special besides half my property and my boring life. And that leads to audutery, I'd never cheat on my wife. My father cheated and it destroyed my family and like I said, the woman I marry would be special to me. I wouldn't murder someone because I don't condone unnescessary violence, I wouldn't steal because I believe you get what you earn and money and riches and material goods never appealed to me anyway (for a pro corporate Republican, I'm kind of personally anti-consumerist at least in terms of conspicuous waste and consumption). So I don't fear sin as much as I don't see the need to do so. I don't see any gains from sinning and I could care less about pleasing anyone and that includes God.
